Kabuli chana chaat / Chickpea salad

Simple to make, yummy to eat. This street food regularly made with black kabuli chana, can be enjoyed with the white one as well.





Ingredients:

Chickpeas / Kabuli chana - 1/2 cup (dried)
Tomato - 1 large
Onion - 1 small
Coriander leaves - a handful
Flaxseed powder - 2 tbsp. (Optional)
Lime juice - 2 tbsp.
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Black salt / Salt


Method:

Soak the chickpeas for 8-10 hours.
Cook them in the pressure cooker with 1 tsp of salt
Finely chop the tomato, onion and coriander
Add them to the cooled chickpeas
Add all the spices and lime juice
